In accordance with Article 20 of the Federal Act on Stock Exchanges and Securities Trading (Stock Exchange Act), Holcim Ltd was informed on November 29, 2013, by The Capital Group Companies Inc. that it holds, through the sale of shares, 2.9544 percent of the voting rights and of the registered share capital of Holcim Ltd. This corresponds to 9,663,663 registered shares and voting rights. According to the declaration of The Capital Group Companies, Inc., the participation fell under the threshold under the Stock Exchange Act of 3 percent on November 27, 2013.
