The state of Delhi, which hosted the Commonwealth Games from October 3rd to 14th 2010, undertook the construction of various wide-ranging projects.
LafargeHolcim in India won the contract for the construction of 3 facilities:
- The Talkatorasports hall: 35 % of VAP Mega®Fill concrete was supplied to renovate the sports hall which will host the combat sports.
- The Indira Gandhistadium: the BU supplied 65 % of the concrete required to construct the stadium which will host the volleyball, badminton and gymnastics competitions.
- The Shivajistadium: 6000 m3 of VAP Mega®Fill were supplied for the project over 12 months. This stadium will host the football competition.
