Context
Our dry mortar solution was used in the renovation of an old 1295 meter-long tunnel dating back to 1924, located between the stations of Rabat-ville and Salé-ville. The tunnel passes under the Algiers national highway, central police station and the cathedral hall. Work is expected to mainly focus on the rehabilitation of a tunnel and electrified double track (contiguous track under operation). This site is part of the project to expand the capacity of the Tangier-Marrakech rail network, at an estimated cost benefit of nearly 73 million Dirhams. This is an initiative of ONCF (Moroccan national rail company) to renovate all tunnels and other types infrastructure across the country.
