Lafarge, world leader in building materials, will be present at Batimat, the world's leading international building exhibition, between November 3 and 8 in Paris. It will have an innovative stand of more than 500 m2, designed by young architects for the first time.

Lafarge is playing a part in the evolution of the building trades. A number of its initiatives, products and services are intended to encourage employment (“Launch your career”, Lafarge Granulats), contribute to the training of building trade professionals (sponsorship of the National Skills Competition, Lafarge Ciments), promote skills (creation of the “Toituriers de France” network by Lafarge Couverture and the “Prégypro” network by Lafarge Plâtres), support performance (provision of innovative tools such as the creargos.com website, intended for specifiers, and the batissor.com website, for craftsmen and contractors, by Lafarge Group) and improve working conditions (roofing membrane unwinder, Lafarge Couverture, and Agilia® concrete, Lafarge Bétons, which make work less arduous and optimizes both site organization and workers' safety).
