Decorative concrete for renovated Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City

15 February 2009

Renovated in 2009, Kauffman Stadium is home to the Kansas City Royals baseball team. The stadium has a 40,775-seat capacity, and was renovated to improve seating, dugout concourses and concession areas. Two new stair towers were also added.

A total of 16,800 m3 (22,000 yards3) of our concrete containing LafargeHolcim's Type I/II cement and NewCem® brand slag cement were used during the renovation.

We also used Agilia® brand self-leveling concrete for the decorative elements.
