Qatar: Artevia® at the Arab Museum of Modern Art

9 March 2011

The first of its kind in Qatar, the Arab Museum of Modern Art opened its doors in December 2010, encouraging creativity and a dialogue regarding modern and contemporary Arab art.

In keeping with the building's colors and rustic appearance, the floors around the museum and in the main entrance were produced using LafargeHolcim's Artevia® Exposed decorative concrete. Covering a total surface area of 2,635m², the Artevia® solution which was used combines a subtle blend of beige and gray aggregates with a light gray concrete color.
