LafargeHolcim engages in innovation partnerships to scale up its impact. In March the company announced its investment in XtreeE, a French start-up specializing in large-scale 3D printing. XTreeE gives architects the means to design more complex and sustainable buildings.

In 2020 we accelerated our climate action, starting our net zero journey setting the most ambitious targets in the industry, validated by SBTi. We also launched ECOPact green concrete and ECO Label to empower sustainable choices. We recycled over 46m tons of materials, and earned even more global recognition as a climate leader. Contributing to sustainable communities, Holcim Madagascar runs different CSR projects to support social and economic development in the Ibity region, from building sustainable houses for vulnerable families to generating jobs in agriculture.
