Roads

Ports are the critical interface between marine and land transport. Coast
Coastal management is more relevant than ever to preserve urban infrastructure and natural ecosystems. Airside
Extensia concrete extends industrial floors, helping to put buildings into service quicker and better resist wear and impact of heavy vehicle traffic and high mechanical loads. Combined with steel reinforcement, it allows to reduce the volume of concrete and the energy consumption during pours, being a more sustainable choice for airside floors.
Expansion projects
Growth means more efficient and larger airports but upgrade and expansion projects are typically costly and lengthy. Not in Green City. Here we use Chronolia high early strength concrete to gain time (3-5 times faster than standard concrete), reduce cost and avoid close contact between workers on site. It’s perfect for projects on a tight schedule or which have experienced disruptions, and to improve quality in key airport surfaces such as the apron.
Passenger terminal
While ductility and aesthetics are obvious characteristics of Ductal UHPC, this concrete also enables to build more with less, to build light structures, and offer a sunshade effect on a building’s facade. This helps to naturally reduce the temperature inside the building and consequently use less energy to keep the airport cool.

Sustainable urban living is a combination of many factors, beginning with the homes we live in and the materials we use to build them. We need to apply low-carbon and circular solutions wherever possible, lower the carbon and energy intensity of our homes over their lifecycle, and look to recycling the construction and demolition waste when they finally are replaced.
Susteno cement, the first and only resource-saving cement in Europe that uses fine mixed granulate from demolished buildings as an additive, is the perfect foundation for building green and circular housing in Green City.
To insulate those homes, Airium mineral foam has a lower CO2 footprint over its lifecycle than traditional insulating products, on top of offering better air quality and higher energy savings.

Walls
Walls can be built in different ways, and we have sustainable solutions for each of them. With Airium bricks you can build and insulate at the same time. With the dry mortar 3D printing solution Tector you will optimize the materials used and minimize the risk of construction errors. Finally, special masonry cements such as Maestro or Forte reduce the carbon footprint and the amount of materials needed per m2, while offering faster and better workability.
Roof
Integrating rainwater management into construction is a must in Green City. Thanks to the combination of Hydromedia permeable concrete and Siplast Waterproof System, ROOFTOP duo TM offers an efficient water management system which is applicable to walking and parking areas too. And for roof renovation, you could use Airium which insulates and builds at the same time.
Floor
We offer different sustainable solutions for smooth and finished floors. Self-levelling and self-placing Agilia concretes and screeds naturally flow and spread effortlessly, reducing worksites noise, manual placement and vibrations. Thermedia improves insulation and energy performance, reducing heat loss by up to 35% and helping achieve the most advanced international environmental certifications.
Facade
Buildings in harmony with their environment naturally optimize the use of energy for insulation, heating and cooling. Ductal elements can create shade, protect insulation materials, collect rainwater, optimize wind conditions, and look beautiful!
