As part of this vision, Lafarge Zambia launched the Lead Retail mobile app, a customer application to place orders, track deliveries, and check balances in real time. 

Digital as a customer need 

The Coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis made e-orders practical and safe, and has accelerated the adoption of digital technologies across all aspects of life - and construction is no exception. Through a robust digital campaign in March the app has been the number one tool for sales order processing in Zambia. Since its launch in March 2020, over 85,000 tonnes of building materials have been processed through our mobile app and the online sales volume has doubled.
