Lafarge announces that is has signed an industrial and technical partnership with Cimpor on July 12, 2002. This reciprocal partnership between the two companies aims at optimizing the industrial performances, specifically in the field of productivity, safety and environmental protection.
The first stage will be the identification of industrial improvement opportunities to be completed by March 31, 2003. The partnership agreement will be renewable on an annual basis after its initial term of December 31, 2004.
