United States: the Everett Station, Washington

31 December 2002

Precast concrete produced by LafargeHolcim using type III High Early Strength cement was used to manufacture a series of concrete arches in this Everett, WA, train station.

The arches provide structural support, while serving as the signature architectural feature in the main collection hall of the station, which is serviced by both Burlington Northern and Amtrak.
